LITTLE RIVER, SC (AP) -- A retired Army Air Corps sergeant will be presented a Bronze Star in South Carolina for his service during World War II.

The award ceremony for 87-year-old Frank Dunlap will be held Sunday afternoon at the VFW in Little River, just north of Myrtle Beach along the coast.

The Army said in a news release Saturday that Dunlap is a survivor of the Bataan death march and was a Japanese prisoner of war for more than three years.
