The city of Columbia is reporting a sewer overflow into the Crane Creek.
A grease and root blockage is the cause of the sanitary sewer back-up that occurred near the 500 block of Meadowlake Drive in Richland County.
The problem was found at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in a collection system line.
The Crane Creek Watershed has experienced several sewage overflows in the past.
