COLUMBIA -- State Representative Nikki Haley continues to hold the lead in the polls even after a Columbia blogger alleged to have had an "imporper physical relationship" with the Lexington politician.

Haley leads the field with 31.3 percent of likely Republican primary voters. Lt. Governor Andre Bauer came in second in the poll with 20.7 percent. U.S. Representative Gresham Barrett and Attorney General Henry McMaster had 14.1 percent and 13.8 percent respectively.

Meanwhile political blogger Will Folks continued to release information Thursday he claims will help prove his allegations.

Folks made the allegation Monday via a post on his blog. He also claimed in Monday's article that he wasn't going to discuss details or grant media interviews. Since that time Folks' blog has published more than a dozen stories related to Haley. Folks has also given at least one on-camera television interview.

Folks released more than 900 pages of phone records Thursday to select media outlets, but he did not provide copies to WACH Fox News. According to reports by multiple media outlets who received copies of the records, the records show that Folks sent and received phone calls from Haley. However; the records do not appear to provide any hard evidence to prove claims of a romantic relationship.

According to the Haley campaign, Folks worked for Haley as a political consultant and the calls between the two reflect a business relationship.

Haley said in a statement on Monday that Folk's accusation is "categorically and totally false." She said that she has been 100 percent faithful to her husband during their 13-year marriage.

Folks has yet to clarify what an "inappropriate physical relationship" entails. That lack of disclosure has caused some to question whether Folks intentionally crafted his vague statement to encourage speculation in the media. Other media outlets have described the claim as an 'affair" even though Folks has yet to use that term himself.

WACH Fox News will continue to follow the story and will update you as new information becomes available.
