COLUMBIA -- Midlands residents have another place to shop for locally grown organic produce.
The Farmers Market at Riverbanks Botanical Garden kicked off Wednesday.
It features everything from homegrown fruits and veggies to homemade breads and jams.
"We're trying to branch out more to the community," says Amanda Segura, Garden Education Coordinator. "There's not another farmers market like it in this area, so it is a great place to get produce and different thigns."
The market is open every Wednesday through October from 2 to 7 p.m.
