COLUMBIA -- Firefighters are working to determine what caused a blaze on Two Notch Road near the LaQuinta Inn.
The fire broke out near Two Notch and Horseshoe Drive Monday afternoon.
When officials responded, they found flames coming from the roof of the vacant three story office building.
Fire officials say it's a complete loss and there's an estimated $1.2 million in damages.
According to Fire Chief Aubrey Jenkins electricity was on in the abandoned building, but they're not ruling out arson as the cause of the fire.
He also says there wasn't anyone in the building at the time, but an eye witness told WACH Fox News they saw people inside before the fire started.
