COLUMBIA (WACH) - Businessman Kirkman Finlay lost a hard fought battle to Attorney Steve Benjamin in Tuesday's Mayoral Election.

Finlay announced the loss at his election party, where he thanked those in his attendance for their support.

The councilman left shortly after he learned of his defeat.
