MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) -- A new casino boat could be sailing from the South Carolina coast within a month and could create 200 jobs.

Multiple media outlets reported the new 600-passenger boat will operate from Little River. One casino boat, the M Grand, operates from Little River now.

A SunCruz boat stopped sailing from Little River on Dec. 15, just before its owner filed for bankruptcy.

Horry County Councilman Harold Worley says Robert Weisberg's company has worked out an agreement to pay fees owed by SunCruz as a condition to operate. The SunCruz ship had owed the county $100,000 for October and an unknown amount for November. Casino ships must pay Horry County $7 per passenger.

Weisberg is a former owner of the SunCruz boat and says his new company may keep the name because it's well known.
