Former substitute arrested for sexual abuse

COLUMBIA(WACH) -- A former substitute teacher with Lexington School District Two has been arrested for criminal sexual conduct with a child.

According to Sheriff James R. Metts, 32 year-old Eric Vancleave sexually assaulted four boys over a seven year period.

The incidents occured while Vancleave took the boys on a camping trip and at his former home in Cayce.

Bond was denied for Vancleave Saturday afternoon.

He is being held at the Lexington County Detention Center.

Deputies believe there may be more victims, anyone with information is urged to call CRIMESTOPPERS at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
