People ined up out the door Tuesday at the Denny's on Columbia's Harbison Boulevard.  They were hoping to take advantage of a free Grand Slam breakfast promotion advertised during Sunday's Super Bowl.

During the Super Bowl on Sunday, Denny's ran ads promoting Free Grand Slam breakfast from 6am - 2pm.  Judging by the response at the Denny's on Harbison Boulevard, the ads were a success.

The restaurant chain ran the same ad campaign last year, and many said the event was impacted by long lines and traffic tie-ups.

Jeremy Longino stopped by Tuesday afternoon to cash in on the free meal with his son. He knew about last year's promotion, but didn't attend.

"I didn't stop last year, because the lines looked much worse," said Longino.

Traffic came and went while WACH FOX News was there Tuesday. Many people parked in neighboring lots and walked over. The line at Denny's was out the door, but most people said they longest they waited was roughly 20 minutes.
