“Doritos Snack Attack Samurai” took home the honors.

COLUMBIA -- The Super Bowl had record viewership Sunday, and that means 106 million people watched the commercials as well.

During the game, USC students cast votes for the winner of the 7th Annual Cocky’s Super Ad Poll.

Scoring the highest in the poll with the Gamecocks was the “Doritos Snack Attack Samurai.”

“Doritos did a really unique thing this year with the user-generated content,” says USC student Casey Engel.  “All of their commercials were generated by their users on their website.  They all got a lot of laughs.”

The commercials were rated in three categories: persuasion, brand identity, and likeability.
