Sumter store robbed, suspects on the loose

SUMTER, S.C. -- Sumter County deputies are looking for two men who allegedly robbed a convenience store Friday night.

Sheriff Anthony Dennis says at 10:00 PM Friday, two masked men entered Dev's One Stop with a gun.  The men got into argument with the owner, 59-year-old Kanu Patel.

Deputies say one of the men starting shooting at the owner, hitting him in the shoulder.  The suspects left with an unknown amount of cash.

Patel was taken to the hospital and has been released.
