CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- One South Carolina city is starting off the new year with some deals for its neighbors.
Beginning Friday and running through the end of March, a number of Charleston hotels and attractions are offering special deals to folks from North Carolina and Georgia as well as South Carolina.
The program is called "Good Neighbors, Great Getaways."
Tripp Hays, the group sales chairman for the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau says it's to thank Southern neighbors who have often been guests in Charleston.
The specials are available to those who live in the three states and show proof of residency.
