Students from the Lexington Technology Center presented First Lady Jenny Sanford with poinsettias Monday at the South Carolina Governor’s Mansion.

The students, who are members of the Future Farmers of America, grow poinsettias every year for the Governor's Mansion.

Sanford says the first is just another reason why she misses living at the mansion.

"I miss being here on the lovely grounds, the great staff, you know all the great things that go on here, I do miss it, it's got a wonderful life of its own," says Sanford.

The First Lady says she’ll be spending her Thanksgiving holiday on the coast with her boys.

She plans to be back at the mansion, for the holiday open house on December third.
