Wach Fox News is in your town.
We visit the town of Lexington, just fifteen miles from our studios.
In Lexington, you'll find a mixture of laid back land and bustling businesses.
And in the hustle and bustle, you'll find a unique restaurant that's rich in aeronautics.
Flight Deck has been spinning its propellers for 17 years now and keeps regulars coming back for more.
What once started as a hole in the wall, The Flight Deck Restaurant, is now a Lexington staple.
"I've always loved aircraft, especially World War II aircraft and figured, why not mix my hobby with my career," said Ted Stambolitis.
It's a passion for restaurant owner, Ted Stambolitis that's 34 years in the making.
"So many places, it seems like its canned and it's the freshness of it and it's just good food," said Ken Johnson.
"I'm hooked on the roasted chicken," said Barbara Eisenhower.
For friends Ken Johnson and Barbara Eisenhower, Flight Deck is a meeting place each week for good food and laughs.
Eisenhower says, you never know who you'll run into.
"I came in with one person and at with two," said Eisenhower.
Eating isn't the only thing you'll do. It's a place to relfect on old memories and swap stories.
"Just about every picture has a story behind it," said Stambolitis.
And those special stories will keep Flight Deck soaring and Lexington well fed for years to come.
