Thousands flocked to the State Fairgrounds Friday for Tom Joyner's annual Back To School Event. The program offered school supplies, health screenings, information, entertainment, and more.

Joyner, a well-known radio personality and philanthropist, is the host of the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show. The show airs locally on KISS 103.1 FM.
