12-year-old Diamond is going into the 8th grade. Her favorite subject is science because she enjoys the experiments.

"We just make things with batteries and stuff," says Diamond.

When she's not at the lab, you can find Diamond jumping rope. The 12-year-old can do more than just a simple speed jump, she can double dutch.

Diamond says, "it comes easy for me."

It's comes so easy to her, she turned her pastime into a competition.

"I've been in double dutch tournaments," says Diamond.

She hopes her double dutch skills will help her become a dancer.

Diamond has several interests. She likes shopping, watching the Disney channel and lots of movies.

"I like transformers and all the movies at the theater," says Diamond.

The 12-year-old also like going out to eat. Her favorite restaurant is Golden Corral.

"I like their rolls. They're really good," says Diamond.

Diamond lives up to her name, she's truly a rare gem. She's smart, fun loving, and polite. Diamond is in foster care but we can change that..
