Its a dangerous trend that continues to spark concern.  We're talking about kids playing with fire.

On February 10th, a four-year-old destroyed a home on Lowder Road in Sumter.

February 21st, a seven and an eight-year-old were responsible for burning their grandmother's home on Piedmont Avenue.

On April 9th, a blaze ripped through the "Park North Apartments" in Lexington.  Nearly a dozen families were left homeless.

And the most recent case happened just last week.  An eight-year-old playing with a lighter started a fire inside his Columbia home.  The damage in that case was minimal, but the lesson learned is of maximum value.
