N. AUGUSTA, SC -- A 52 year old North Augusta man was pronounced dead at his home after his Dodge P/U truck rolled down the driveway trapping him between the driver's door and a tree.

Mr. James Honaker of Buckthorn Ct., North Augusta, SC had just moved his car down the driveway to allow his wife to pull out of the driveway and go to work.

As he pulled back into the inclined driveway he apparently stopped to pick up the morning newspaper.

It appears the vehicle began rolling down the driveway, then struck a pine tree trapping Mr. Honaker on the driver's side door. Mr. Honaker was unable to free himself and died from asphyxiation.

Aiken County coroner, Tim Carlton, says the death will be ruled an accident.
