CHARLESTON, SC (AP) -- There will be 27 women among about 450 cadets graduating this weekend at The Citadel in Charleston.

Saturday's graduation marks 10 years since Nancy Mace became the first female cadet graduate from the military college.

After diplomas are awarded Saturday, there will be a total of 203 female cadet graduates.

U.S. Rep. John Spratt of the state's 5th Congressional District is one of the scheduled speakers at the ceremony.
