(AP) -- The veterinarian who injected 21 elite polo horses with a supplement before a championship match in Florida and then watched them die says the grief is unbearable.

Argentine veterinarian Felix Crespo told The Associated Press on Saturday the he injected the horses a week ago with a supplement provided to him by the Venezuelan-owned team's veterinarian in Florida.

In his first interview since the horses mysteriously died, Crespo tells the AP that he doesn't know if he'll ever be the same again.

A Florida pharmacy that mixed the supplement concoction has said the strength of one ingredient was incorrect. The pharmacy has not said whether the incorrect amount was specified in the order that came from a Florida veterinarian.
