(AP) -- COLUMBIA, South Carolina------ United States Attorney W. Walter Wilkins stated that Floyd Huff, Jr., a/k/a “Main Huff”, age 34, of Columbia, was sentenced in federal court to 20 years for conspiracy and distribution of 50 grams or more of crack cocaine. United States District Judge Joseph F. Anderson, Jr., imposed the sentence, which will be followed by 10 years of supervision release.
On two occasions in August 2007, Huff sold crack cocaine to an undercover officer of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. Both sales took place at a hotel on Two Notch Road.
Mr. Wilkins stated that Huff was subjected to a mandatory minimum of 20 years because he has a prior federal conviction for involvement in a crack conspiracy.
The case was investigated by agents of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation Violent Gang Task Force. Assistant United States Attorney Nancy C. Wicker of the Columbia office handled the prosecution of the case.
