"Why was it done to him, unexplainable, unexplainable," said Joanne Taylor.
Joanne Taylor says her son was shot and killed Saturday at a home on Parkwood Drive.
"He would do anything in the world to help somebody, right or wrong, he would do it," said Taylor.
Deputies say 36-year-old Phillip Christofoli may have been at the wrong place at the wrong time Saturday night.
Sheriff James Metts says around 8:00 19-year-old Krystal Hall and two men entered a home off Parkwood Drive, where Christofoli was visiting a friend.
Metts says the trio opened fire, shooting Christofoli several times.
"We don't know if they went there to do the shooting or if that's what took place due to the argument," said Metts.
What deputies do know is an argument started over crack cocaine.
"When you take 3 shots to the chest, that's gonna take a lot out of ya," said Taylor.
While Taylor admits drug activity was common among Christofoli and friends, she says he was a good kid.
"I wish somebody who knows anything about this would come forward with first and last names so this can be put at ease," said Taylor.
The coroner says Christofoli bled to death.
As for the suspect in custody, Krystal Hall has a bond hearing Tuesday at 8:30.
