(AP) -- SPARTANBURG , S.C. (AP) -- Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright says he has fired one of his deputies who admitted he looked at child pornography.
Wright told the Herald-Journal of Spartanburg that Chad Bagwell failed a lie detector test Thursday.
The sheriff says Bagwell's wife gave authorities a disk with 40 images of pornography taken from his computer. The two have been separated for several months.
Wright says at least three of the images are of a child younger than 11.
Bagwell's computer has been turned over to state agents. No criminal charges have been filed so far.
