GREENVILLE, SC (AP) -- Democratic strategist Donna Brazile is coming to South Carolina.
Furman University said Friday the political commentator will lecture at the Greenville school on February 16th as part of Black Awareness Month.
Brazile was campaign manager for Al Gore's 2000 presidential bid and was the first African American woman to lead a major presidential campaign.
She chairs the Democratic National Committee's Voting Rights Institute and frequently gives commentary on television and radio programs.
Brazile is also an adjunct professor at Georgetown University.
