Columbia police are searching for suspect who they say robbed a store early Tuesday morning.

It happened around 8 am at the Walgreen's on Devine Street.  Investigators say a man walked into the store and motioned as if to have a weapon.

The cashier opened the register while the bandit stole took an undisclosed amount of money.

The man got away on foot.  He was wearing a black skull cap, black leather coat, and a red shirt.  If you have any information that may help investigators solve this case call Crimestoppers at 1-888-Crime-SC.
