NEWBERRY, S.C. (AP) -- Authorities say a Newberry women's basketball player has been killed in a crash as she returned to school.  Newberry County Coroner Lewis Lee says 22-year old Keena Phillips was in the passenger seat of a disabled car when it was struck by a van early Saturday morning on Interstate 26 near Newberry.  A special team of state troopers is investigating the wreck and no charges have been filed.  Authorities say Phillips was returning to school from Milwaukee. She was a senior who played in eight games this season, scoring 10 total points.
