FORT JACKSON, S.C. (AP) -- It can be difficult to be far away from family members during the holidays, and the Army's largest training installation is trying to ease the pain for relatives of deployed military members.

Starting Monday, families of deployed service members will get the chance to send their loved ones a holiday greeting by a video teleconference made possible by Fort Jackson's Army Community Service.

The services are also available on Tuesday and again on Dec. 29 and 30.

The teleconferences are open to area relatives of service members in all branches. Family members need to sign up with Army Community Service to reserve a time.
