Police are investigating a body found in downtown Columbia Sunday.
At around 6 p.m. Sunday, Columbia authorities found a man dead at the corner of Calhoun and Assembly streets. They say he was sitting on a bench.
At this point investigators do not see any signs of foul play, however, they haven't ruled anything out at this point.
The identity of the man and a cause of death have not been released.
The Richland County Coroner's office will perform an autopsy on Monday.
