Around 2 Friday afternoon, police responded to an armed robbery at the Advance America Cash Advance on Broad River Road.
Investigators say a man entered the location and demanded money.
The bandit ran in an unknown direction and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man is described as being 5 foot 4 inches tall, clean shaven and 140 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, a baseball cap and light-colored jeans.
