A man is in the hospital after an evening shooting.

It happened in a wooded area near Garners Ferry Road around 7 p.m. Thursday.

Deputies say the man was shot while he was walking.

He's at Palmetto Richland Hospital. Deputies say he is not cooperating with their investigation.

Authorities do not have a suspect in this case.
