Richland Co. adds extra day for absentee voters

If you are planning on voting absentee in Richland County, you now have an extra day to do so.

Lengthy lines and heavy congestion forced election officials to open the polls on Saturday. Doors will open at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Richland County Offices on Harden Street and will close at 1 p.m.

The statewide deadline for mailed absentee ballots is still Friday, October 31.
