WEST COLUMBIA, SC (WACH) – West Columbia Police are searching for a suspected bank robber.
West Columbia Police Chief Dennis Tyndall said the robbery happened is investigating a bank robbery that occurred about 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at the BB&T bank located at 2404 Sunset Boulevard.
Lieutenant Bruce Wade said the suspect is a white male in his 40’s, 6’00 to 6’03 and between 220-240 lbs. The suspect presented a note to a teller demanding money. It is unknown at this time if the suspect left on foot or in a vehicle.
