COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) -- The State Election Commission has certified many of the results from this month's elections in South Carolina.

Commissioners voted Wednesday to officially recognize all races in the state that did not involve Richland County.

The decision to leave out Richland County means results in the presidential race, the state constitutional amendment, two U.S. House races, five state Senate races and 12 state House races are not official yet.

Richland County is still counting its votes after a court challenge. The county has been ordered to certify its results before noon Friday, and the State Election Commission plans to consider the results Friday afternoon.
