COLUMBIA (WACH) -- South Carolina is about to receive a nice chunk of change, all in the name of teaching kids healthy habits.

Health care company United Healthcare is scheduled to visit Clemson University Friday to announce the state will get part of a $300,000 award to teach children how healthy eating and exercise can prevent obesity.

The money is going to the 4-H club's Eat4-Health campaign.

About 100 children will participate in exercises as part of the celebration.
