COLUMBIA (WACH) - WACH Fox and the City of Columbia joined a global initiative Thursday to promote kindness and community by launching a Pay It Forward campaign, and we can't do it without you!
We have launched a Facebook Pay It Forward tab as a place to share inspirational stories, thoughts, and ideas. Additionally, we will begin to spread our new Kindness Cards throughout the city in a hand to hand attempt to promote goodwill, show appreciation toward each other, or simply lift the spirit of another.
Mayor Steve Benjamin proclaimed Thursday in April as "Pay It Forward Day" for the City of Columbia, and urge all citizens to observe this day with activities and acts of kindness that demonstrate selfless giving.
We can all start paying it forward. Every action you take or word you speak has an affect on others around you. Even a smile can make an impact on someone's day. We invite you to join us on this journey to find ways large and small, to contribute to a more positive experience for Columbia.
