FOREST ACRES - A.C. Flora High School is on lockdown after police say a nearby store was robbed Tuesday morning.

The Forest Acres Police Department is searching for one suspect after an armed robbery occurred at The Vitamin Shoppe on Beltline Blvd. around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Lt. Bryant Hinson says the suspect is described as a black male wearing a skull cap and a hoodie. He fled the scene on a bicycle.

A spokesperson for the Richland One School District says A.C. Flora High School, which is located near the store, has been placed on lockdown as a precaution.
