SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) -- Two law enforcement officers in Spartanburg County have reported that someone broke into their vehicles, taking a gun, badge and other equipment.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office says the break-ins occurred in Boiling Springs.

One of the break-ins occurred sometime between late Sunday afternoon and late Monday morning. The report says someone took a sheriff's deputy's Glock handgun, a sergeant's bade and holster from a locked pickup truck.

A second break-in occurred Monday morning. The Spartanburg police officer reported that a vest, radio, binoculars and a weapon laser light were taken from an unlocked, unmarked car.

No arrests have been made.

A sheriff's spokesman says investigators don't know if the officers were targeted.
