GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) -- Last weekend's snowfall knocked public broadcasting off the air temporarily in the Greenville and Spartanburg areas.

The Greenville News reported reported South Carolina Educational Television said the snow damaged equipment in Greenville and Spartanburg counties.

The problems started Saturday afternoon. Problems continued Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

ETV spokeswoman Fran Johnson says service was restored by temporary repairs around 5 p.m. Tuesday. Johnson says more work will be needed later.
