KERSHAW COUNTY (WACH) - Authorities say Kershaw County deputies were led on a high speed chase Tuesday afternoon.

Officials with the Kershaw County Sheriff's Office say as deputies stopped a silver Dodge Charger on Interstate 20, the passenger jumped into the driver's seat during a roadside interview and drove away. Deputies pursued the car into Lee County where they were joined by Lee County officers.

Deputies say the driver of the Charger drove down the wrong side of I-20 against traffic at one point and eventually rammed two patrol cars before being stopped.

No one was injured in the incident.

Two individuals have been arrested and a small amount of drugs were found.
