COLUMBIA (WACH) - Deputy Curtis Wilson with the Richland County Sheriff's Department confirmed there is an officer involved incident, but said he has little details about the situation.
Authorities say there is a shooting scene in the St. Andrews area of Richland County.
A spokesperson for Richland School District One says three schools are locked down as a precaution; Sandel Elementary School, Pine Grove Elementary School and Columbia High School.
Columbia Police officers are stopping traffic into The Farrington Apartments off of Broad River Road.
