COLUMBIA (WACH)- A double truck wreck left a roadway with a new look, two truck drivers injured, and a massive headache for evening commuters.

Lance Corporal Brent Kelly with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said a tractor trailer truck was traveling west on I-26 near mile marker 99. The tractor trailer truck was transporting paint when it was struck by a dump truck. The paint spilled on to I-26. Due to the accident Western Lane from Wayne McCall Road to Koon Road was closed for part of Thursday afternoon.

The paint left streaks on I-26. The accident remains under investigation. The right lane of I-26 was shut down for a time to keep drivers from getting unwanted paint on their cars.
