LEXINGTON S.C. (WACH) -- It was a fun day full of fun and excitement for fifth graders at Midway Elementary School for career day.

Students packed the gym learning about different types of jobs and the skills they may need to do them.  The Mustangs talked with soldiers, lawyers, firefighters, and police investigators learning what it takes to be successful in those careers.

Midway Elementary Brandy Ludlam say's "The earlier they (the kids) get exposed to it the more they start thinking and the more they learn the value of an education".

WACH Fox reporter Rob Starkey and Meteorologist Garret Bedenbaugh taking time to speak to the students about journalism and weather, the kids even got a chance to take a turn in front of the camera.
