COLUMBIA (WACH) - It is the season of giving, and it's no exception for the workers at La-Z-Boy furniture.

The company delivering pieces of furniture to The Good Samaritan Family Thrift Store located at 10012 Two Notch Road.

The thrift store is a ministry of the Oliver Gospel Mission.

Oliver Gospel Mission’s CEO says the donations helps to bring revenue to the store and that in turn helps to save lives.

“It helps us to continue our operations at the mission and helping right now homeless men get their lives transformed, so that they can became a part of the solution whether than continue to be problem of homelessness”, says Wayne Fields, CEO Oliver Gospel Mission. 

Fields says the thrift store has been open for a year and a half and it's seen great success.
