South Carolina Philharmonic 2012-2013 season begins Friday

COLUMBIA (WACH)—The 2012-2012 season of the South Carolina Philharmonic opens Friday evening with a tribute to Beethoven, Brahms, and Borodin called “The Killer B’s.”

The performance spotlighting musical selections suck as the Overture to Prince Igor, Piano Concerto No. 5, and Brahms Symphony No. 3 promises to be a special evening for the conductor, Morihiko Nakahara and guests.

Friday’s concert at the Koger Center kicks of the season, which includes “Mozart and More,” “Made in the USA,” and “Beethoven & Blue Jeans,” among others.
