Lexington County Coroner still hospitalized after February wreck

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WACH) - Longtime Lexington County coroner remains in the trauma unit at Palmetto Health Richland after being injured in a car accident.

According to  Helen Gamble with the Coroner's Office, Harry O. Harman was on his way to a visitation at southland Memorial Garden on February 23.  Gamble wrote in a release that  Harman's family appreciates (all of) the interest and concern (for his wellbeing).

Harman has served as Coroner in Lexington County for 36 years.  He was re-elected in 2012.
