RICHLAND COUNTY (WACH) - A man accused of breaking into apartments and stealing electronics and white t-shirts has been arrested by Richland County deputies.

Sheriff Leon Lott says Christopher Odom, 25, was arrested last month and charged with burglary, larceny and identity fraud.

Around 3:30 a.m. on October 6, deputies responded to a burglary to find the doors of three apartments at the Austin Woods complex kicked in, according to Lott.

The sheriff says investigators determined Odom was responsible.

A flat screen television, Wi-Fi internet card and a package of three white t-shirts were taken in the burglary.

Lott says Odom presented identification that did not belong to him when approached by law enforcement in January.

Odom was taken to the Richland County jail.
