ST. GEORGE, S.C. (AP) -- A 19-year-old man has pleaded guilty to robbing and killing a pizza delivery driver in North Charleston last year.

Stephawn Brown's plea Thursday to murder and armed robbery ended his trial, which began earlier this week. He faces 30 years to life in prison when he is sentenced Friday.

The plea came a day after testimony that the gun used in the killing was found in a crawl space along with an employment application with Brown's name on it

Authorities say Brown and 18-year-old Jontae Davis attacked 20-year-old Maraleius Birdsong when he came to deliver pizza. Investigators say they stole $20 and the food, then Brown shot the deliveryman in the back of the head.

Davis pleaded guilty earlier this week and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
