RICHLAND COUNTY (WACH) - A man is is accused of tattooing "Daddy's Girl" and a "Browning" symbol on his 14-year-old daughter's wrist.

Sheriff Leon  Lott says Victor Shane Scoggins, 39, turned himself in Thursday morning and is charged with tattoo of a minor, unlawful neglect of a child, and not having a required certificate.

Authorities say Scoggins may have tattooed others.

Lott asks that anyone who has received a tatoo from Scoggins, or knows someone who has received a tattoo, to contact the Richland County Sheriff's Department at 803-576-3000.

Lott adds that people should know the risks of getting tattoos, which can cause infections and other complications.
