SUMTER (WACH) - Sumter police officers arrested two men Monday morning in connection with a burglary at a convenience store.

Marvin Keith McBride and Johnathan Antrio Goodman are accused of stealing SC Education Lottery tickets and trying to redeem the tickets at a different store in Dalzell.

McBride is charged with burglary and passing of stolen lottery tickets and Goodman is charged with property crimes or subsequent offense for possession of stolen lottery tickets.

Police say the tickets were stolen during a burglary around 4:20 a.m. Sunday. The owners reported the break-in several hours later saying an assortment of $3, $5 and $10 lottery tickets were taken.

McBride and Goodman were taken to the Sumter-Lee Regional Detention Center to await bond hearings.
