COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH / AP) -- South Carolina's top prosecutor presenting his legislative wish list to the state's law enforcement Wednesday.
Wilson held a news conference at the Statehouse to outline the 2013 Criminal Justice Reform Package.
The agenda consists of 10 priorities for this year's legislative session.
The priorities focus on several areas including life without parole for murderers, equalization of number of jury strikes, internet sweepstakes and no bond for repeat violent offenders.
"It makes the criminal justice system far more efficient, far more fair, and it gives law enforcement, whether it be police officers, sheriff's deputies, prosecutor, or law enforcement agency, makes it easier to do our jobs and keeping the public safety," said Wilson.
Prosecutors from around the state and South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Chief Mark Keel will joined him to talk about law enforcement's agenda for this year's legislative session.
Lawmakers returned to Columbia last week.
